Take a classic and make it magnificent with minimal ingredients and effort. Perfect as an appetizer or special side.
L’Koved Shabbos V’Yom Tov!
puff pastry
round pink deli ( e.g. salami)
round white deli ( e.g. smoked turkey)
duck sauce
Preheat oven to 400°F and line muffin tins with liners.
Thaw puff pastry and cut into 1-inch strips.
Stack the pink and white deli and cut into thirds, keeping a round edge on each cut. Using a pastry brush, apply duck sauce to the surface of the puff pastry.
One at a time, place four pieces of deli on each strip (alternating colors) and roll the strip until it forms a rose.
Transfer each deli rose into a muffin wrapper. Using the pastry brush, dab with a bit more duck sauce.
Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes or until the rims of the deli are dark and the puff pastry is golden.
