Chocolate chips plus dairy plus cookies — you’ve been forewarned: You won’t be able to stop at one! Many thanks to my sister-in-law Judy for this outstanding cookie.
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
2 eggs
3.4 ounces (95 grams) Gefen Instant Vanilla Pudding
2 and 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon Haddar Baking Powder
2 (3.5-oz./100-g.) bars Schmerling’s Rosemarie Harmony bars, broken into small pieces
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and beat well.
Add in remaining ingredients, except for the chocolate pieces. Beat well until combined.
Add in chocolate pieces and mix. Drop by tablespoonful onto a Gefen Parchment Paper–lined cookie sheet. Bake for 9–10 minutes, then cool.
Yields about 48 cookies
