Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, chopped

  • 2 teaspoons flour

  • 4 teaspoons Knorr Mushroom Soup Mix or other instant soup mix

  • 4 cups boiling water

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Make the Soup

1.

Melt butter in saucepan. Add the mushrooms. Cover and simmer for five minutes.

2.

Sprinkle flour over mushrooms. Cook for one minute, stirring constantly.

3.

Combine soup mix, water, and seasoning with mushrooms and cook for 15 minutes.

Osem makes instant mushroom soup mix.

Yes, however, it has a veggie flavor instead of an onion flavor. You can use whatever soup mix you like.
