Prepare the Creamed Beans and Franks

1.

Combine chickpeas, lima beans, and water. Blend until smooth. Mixture should be heavy but not thick. Add a bit more water if necessary.

2.

Sauté onion in oil. When golden in color, add garlic and frankfurters. Sauté for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3.

Reheat bean mixture. Serve as a base for sautéed franks or serve a scoop of beans with franks nearby.

Notes:

This is great way to use up leftover chickpeas after Shabbos.
