Cream butter and cream cheese until smooth.
Add salt and flour and mix until smooth.
Divide dough into three equal parts. Wrap individually in plastic wrap or wax paper. Refrigerate overnight.
Serve these dairy rugelach at a kiddush, simcha, or even Shavuot.

Place onto cookie sheet. Brush with egg and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
