This pie is perfect for the cozy fall weather. It’s a great mashup of crisp and pie with a graham cracker crust and a pecan crumble topping.
3 large baking apples, peeled and cut into thin slices
4 ounces fresh or frozen (not thawed) cranberries
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Ground Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 and 1/2 tablespoons Heaven and Earth Lemon Juice
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine sliced apples, cranberries, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, and lemon juice in a large bowl. Toss until the apples and cranberries are evenly coated. Pour into graham cracker crust.
Combine crumble topping in a bowl and sprinkle over the pie. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
