This week on Sweet Sisters’ Shabbat Treats, we’re making something easy and so delicious that they will disappear faster than you can turn around!
1/4 cup margarine at room temperature
1 cup Haddar Brown Sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup dairy-free milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 and 1/4 cups Glicks Flour
1/2 cup Haddar Mini or regular chocolate chips (mini are great in this recipe)
OR use 1 box of Kineret Cookie Dough
2 (8-ounce) packages of pretzel flats
1 (9-ounce) bag Haddar Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with Gefen Parchment Paper.
Spread out the flour on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
Then, cream the sugars and margarine together using an electric mixer. Add in the rest of the ingredients, including the heat-treated flour. Let the dough chill for the fridge for a half hour. Then roll into one-inch balls.
Place one ball of cookie dough in between two pretzel pieces. Smash to flatten a bit.
Melt the chocolate in a microwave for 30 seconds at a time until smooth. Don’t overdo it!
Dip the pretzel sandwich into the chocolate. Place on the baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet in the freezer for a few minutes until fully hardened.
