These no-bake cheese truffles taste very similar to the famous cheese balls from Daskals in Boro Park. Yield: approximately 40 balls

Ingredients

Chocolate-Covered Cheese Truffles

  • 1 bag (Ostreicher’s) lemon cookies (10 ounces), crushed (gluten-free, if needed)

  • 2 (3-and-1/2-ounce) bars of two-tone chocolate

Directions

Prepare the Chocolate-Covered Cheese Truffles

1.

Combine first four ingredients in a large bowl; form mixture into walnut-sized balls.

2.

Run a peeler over the chocolate bars to form chocolate curls.

3.

Roll balls over the chocolate curls to coat.
