These amazing chocolate squares are super fudgy, super chocolatey, and super delicious! Make sure these set really well in the freezer, and cut and serve them chilled. These are sure to become a family favorite, especially for the chocoholics in your house!
1 pound baking chocolate
1/2 pound shortening
4 cups Gefen Confectioners’ Sugar
4 (pasteurized) eggs
3 tablespoons Gefen Vanilla Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Gefen Rum
1 pound chopped filberts, roasted
Melt chocolate and shortening.
Beat confectioners’ sugar and eggs, add remaining ingredients.
Add chocolate, beat until well combined.
Spread into lined cookie sheet. Chill thoroughly. Cut into three-quarter-inch squares.
