Chicken in Cherry Sauce

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 and 1/2 pounds chicken cutlets or nuggets

  • 1 cup Gefen Bread Crumbs or cornflakes crumbs

Sauce

  • 1/2 can sour cherries in juice

  • 2 tablespoons cherry jam

  • 2 teaspoons Gefen Cornstarch

Directions

Prepare the Chicken

1.

Coat chicken with the mayonnaise, then toss in the bread crumbs. Bake for one hour at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or deep fry until the chicken is golden.  

Prepare the Sauce

1.

Combine and cook ingredients until thickened, about 7-10 minutes.

2.

Pour over chicken and reheat.
