Diets Debbie Grashin is the first Jew who was born in the state of Alaska. She shares her recipes below, which she demonstrated for Whisk readers in her kitchen.
cedar plank
salt
pepper
1 fillet salmon
your choice of topping (I like to use Soy Very Teriyaki Sauce or olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper)
Soak the cedar plank in water for two hours. Rub olive oil, salt and pepper directly into the plank.
“The cedar plank makes anything cooked on it so super moist and tender. Keep a spray bottle handy, just in case!” – Debbie
Place salmon on plank and season with your choice of topping.
Place plank on barbecue over indirect heat (you don’t want the fire to hit the wood).
Close barbecue lid and grill until fish flakes easily with a fork.
