Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 fillet salmon

  • your choice of topping (I like to use Soy Very Teriyaki Sauce or olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper)

Directions

Prepare the Cedar Plank

1.

Soak the cedar plank in water for two hours. Rub olive oil, salt and pepper directly into the plank.

Prepare the Cedar Plank

“The cedar plank makes anything cooked on it so super moist and tender. Keep a spray bottle handy, just in case!” – Debbie

Cook the Salmon

1.

Place salmon on plank and season with your choice of topping.

2.

Place plank on barbecue over indirect heat (you don’t want the fire to hit the wood).

3.

Close barbecue lid and grill until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Notes:

Grilling time depends on the size of the fillet. Small fillets will take about 20 minutes.
