With all the cheesecake and other rich delicacies we have on Shavuos, I like to try and keep the side dishes light. Cauliflower is a great carb stand-in, and when you have it like this, it doesn’t even feel like a substitute!
1 large head of cauliflower, washed and checked
1 tablespoon Gefen Olive Oil
2 tablespoons Pure Food by Estée Real Barbecue Sauce (0% added sugar)
1 tablespoon Montreal steak spice
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with Gefen Parchment Paper and set aside.
Cut the cauliflower florets off the stem and cut into squares or French-fry shapes.
Place the florets in a bowl and toss with olive oil, barbecue sauce, and seasoning. Spread on the prepared baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes or until the edges are browning.

Can I use a bag of frozen cauliflower instead of fresh?
Yes! Just make sure you thaw it out so it’s no longer frozen.
