1 container Mehadrin Fresh Mozzarella Balls
1/2 cup Glicks Flour
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
2 eggs, beaten
oil, for frying
heirloom or on the vine tomatoes
mixed greens
toasted pepitas
toasted sunflower seeds
Mehadrin Feta Cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup Bartenura Balsamic Vinegar
1/4 cup Gefen Maple Syrup
Place the flour, bread crumbs, and egg in three separate bowls.
Dip the mozzarella balls in flour, then in the egg, and roll in the bread crumbs.
Heat one inch of oil in a large pot. To test if hot enough, drop a pinch of bread crumbs into the oil. If bubbles form immediately around the bread crumbs and they rise to the top, your oil is ready.
Drop in a few balls at a time. Fry for two minutes, gently turning as they brown, until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a cooling rack to drain.
To assemble, slice the tomatoes and fan them in a circle on your dish. Place a generous handful of mixed greens in the center, then add the fried mozzarella balls around the greens. Top with crumbled feta cheese and toasted seeds, then drizzle with balsamic dressing.
