1 large Spanish onion, diced
2 tablespoons oil
2 packages shredded cabbage
24 ounces Gefen Ketchup
32 ounces ginger ale
4 apples, peeled, diced, and pureed
In 8-quart pot, sauté onion in oil until clear.
Add remaining ingredients; cook about 2 hours.

Can you use apple sauce instead of apples?
I’ve never tried it but I don’t see why not.
