This plate is a lot easier to create than it looks, especially if you use bakery brownies, like I did!

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • thick strawberry sauce

  • 1- by 6-inch strip of brownie (approximately)

  • custard cream (see note)

  • gooseberries

  • pomegranate seeds

  • mint

  • leaves, for garnishing

Directions

Prepare the Brownie Plate

1.

Using a pastry brush, paint a line of sauce across the plate.

2.

Place your brownie strip on the plate perpendicular to the strawberry sauce line.

3.

Using a star tip, pipe custard cream on the brownie in a back-and-forth motion to create a wave look.

4.

Garnish with gooseberries, pomegranate seeds, and mint leaves.

Notes:

For the custard cream, beat a 16-ounce (450-gram) pareve whipping cream and add 16 ounces of custard. Mix until incorporated.
