A touch of smoky bourbon will spice up your classic pecan pie. We love this delicious way to celebrate autumn! Watch Easy Does It with Esty for more easy family cooking.
1 frozen pie crust
2-3 cups pecan halves
3 eggs
3/4 cup Haddar Corn Syrup
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons white sugar
3 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla Extract
1 and 1/2 – 3 tablespoons Boondocks Bourbon
pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a medium bowl whisk the eggs with corn syrup, sugars, oil, vanilla, bourbon, and salt.
Fill the frozen crust with two cups pecan halves, then pour the filling over them. Arrange more pecans on top if desired.
Bake for one hour, uncovered. If you notice the edges beginning to darken too much, cover them loosely with foil to prevent burning. Serve warm, room temperature, or cold.

Can I make these with mini pie crusts? What would the baking time be with them?
Yes! I would bake for 15-20 min and see if it is done. If not, add 5 min until it is done.
