1/2 pound margarine
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, separated
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla Extract
2 cups flour
1/2 pound chopped almonds, roasted
Cream margarine and sugar. Add egg yolks, beating well.
Combine with salt, vanilla and flour. Mix to form soft dough.
Roll into one- and- a- half-inch balls.
Beat egg whites until frothy. Dip each ball into beaten egg whites and then into chopped almonds.
With finger, press into center to form indentations.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes. While still hot, press chocolate chip into each center.
