Basic Brownies with Variations

Brownies are just one of those things that everybody likes. Here you can custom-make your own brownie, or just bake it plain. Either way, you can’t go wrong!

Ingredients

Brownies

  • 1 and 1/2 cups flour

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • 3/4 cup oil

Add-ins

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

  • 1 cup Glicks Chocolate Chips or chocolate chunks

  • 3/4 cup walnut pieces

  • 1 cup chocolate-covered mint patties

  • 1 cup chopped chocolate-covered coconut patties

  • 1/2 cup sour cherries

  • 1 cup chocolate lentils

  • 1 cup pecan pieces

  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam, such as Tuscanini

  • 2 tablespoons crystallized ginger, chopped

  • 1 cup caramel chips

  • 3/4 cup rice crispies

  • 1/2 cup Gefen Peanut Butter

  • 1 tablespoon orange zest

  • 1 cup jelly beans

  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut

Directions

Prepare the Brownies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius). Mix all basic ingredients in a large mixing bowl and add whichever add-ins you would like.

Pour batter into a 9×13-inch baking pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, until set.
