Baby won’t eat that cereal plain anymore.
Have too many baby food jars left? How about that big tub of plain yogurt that no one’s eating on its own.
This recipe combines all the extra food that doesn’t get eaten when baby transitions to toddler. These pancakes can be enjoyed by all, including adults. It’s sweet enough on its own, which also makes it perfect for on the go.
1.5 cups flour
3/4 cup baby oatmeal
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 4-oz baby jar (sweet potato, banana or apple work well)
1/4 cup maple syrup
3 T oil
Combine all dry ingredients, then make a well and add the wet ingredients. Mix just until it’s all incorporated.
Heat a large frying pan or skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with oil or oil spray.
Pour 1/4 cupfuls of batter into the pan and cook until bubbles form.
Flip and cook until lightly browned on the other side.
