7 Cortland apples
3 yellow apples
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla Extract
1 cup water
8 ounces dried apricots
Add all the ingredients, except the apricots, to a six-quart pot and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and let it cook for an hour.
After an hour, add the apricots and let it cook on low heat for another hour until the apples are soft and mushy.
Blend everything together using a hand stick blender and let it cool before serving.
