This recent viral trend seems to have been started by the Pioneer Woman, and is a crazy easy concept to make your own. If you’re looking for healthier desserts, keep on moving. 🙂
2 (21-ounce) cans apple pie filling (lite or low sugar, if available), such as Gefen
1 cup nougat cream or hazelnut spread
1 (3-ounce/85-gram) package white chocolate pudding or Gefen Vanilla Pudding mix
1 cup parve milk, such as Gefen Oat Milk
1 (15.25-ounce) box vanilla cake mix, unprepared
3/4 cup (1 and 1/2 sticks) margarine, cut into thin slices
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
In a nine- x 13-inch (20×30-centimeter) baking dish, spread apple pie filling. Carefully spread the nougat cream across the top.
Combine the pudding mix with the parve milk and pour evenly on top. Pour the cake mix evenly over this, without mixing it in.
Arrange the margarine slices on top of the cake mix.
Bake for 45 minutes.
