One of my favorite things to do this time of year is find wonderful flavors for my table—that also bring bright colors! You can almost feel everyone brightening up around the table when colors grace the plates — especially as the chill in air has started to get a little, well, chillier.
Sometimes it seems crazy to plan a menu based on what is visually appealing, but it’s really true what they say: We eat with our eyes first. A burst of color prepares our palates for the burst of flavor that’s sure to follow!
