There’s something so unique and free about Chanukah that is different from other Yomim Tovim. Chanukah is synonymous with large get-togethers and is an opportunity to spend quality time with our family and friends from far and near.
Here are some fresh and creative ideas to create the most beautiful Chanukah memories for your guests this Chanukah.
My inspiration for this setup up began with these modern-looking Chanukah Plates by Blue Sky Trading.
They are so sleek and elegant, as soon as I saw them I knew I was off to a good start with the table décor.
Talking about modern and sleek- I was so excited that my friend introduced me to Mimi Wenick of Rentique Toronto. I used these magnificent sparkling tabletop mirrors, which are available in Toronto and New Jersey in different colors and sizes, they are brilliant!

Under the mirrors, I used an 8 foot banquet table with a royal blue velvet tablecloth.
I purchased the fabric at Stitch N Sew of Lakewood, NJ. What I love about using this velvet for a tablecloth is that it is 72 inches wide, so it hangs over nicely either side. Also, the ends don’t need to be hemmed. Velvet fabric is available in 16 colors!!!
The acrylic chairs from B and B Party of NJ added a real elegance to the look of the party. They never let me down with their large variety of party furniture.
Adding lots of candles to the setup gave the table a real cozy Chanukah feel, I picked up the candle holders at At Home.
The Amaryllis flower is a beautiful, inexpensive flower that really stands out. I put a piece of floral foam in these blue vases and stuck the amaryllises in at different heights. I used filler at the bottom to cover the empty spaces.
Although the plates were plastic, I used real glass silver ball chargers from Closeout Connection to make the place setting pop.
The cutlery is from B and B Party Goods. Disposable yet super sharp looking!!! It has a “real” look and feel. It is available in a variety of colors.
I folded the napkin to resemble a wrapped present.
I designed these adorable mini donut walls/seating cards recently, and I’m so excited to debut them here on Kosher.com. For the DIY directions, please visit Esther O Design.com.
