These sandwich steaks are sweet, spicy, and utterly delicious. An easy and delicious grilled steak supper.

Ingredients

Main ingredients

Directions

Marinate

1.

In a bowl, combine ketchup, pineapple juice, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, and canola oil.

2.

Place sandwich steak in a one-gallon Ziploc bag and pour half of the marinade over it. Marinate for four hours or overnight.

Grill

1.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove the meat from the refrigerator and allow to reach room temperature, around 30 minutes. Remove the meat from bag and throw out the remaining marinade.

2.

Grill for two to two and a half minutes per side.

3.

After taking the meat off the grill, you can place the meat on wooden skewers. Brush meat with reserved marinade.

Tips:

When making these beef sticks, I like to prepare extra to have for another night’s supper. Freeze the meat fully marinated in a gallon size bag. Take them out of the freezer that morning; allow to fully defrost, and marinate for an additional four hours before grilling.
